A Fresh Start

I am back.

I have emerged from piles of school books and notes, empty tea-stained mugs and the boredom of never ending revision. The light is eventually in sight, on the horizon waiting for me to grab once I finish my one.last.exam on Tuesday.

I am determined to make this a summer to remember and have therefore decided to do what I do best, make a list.

Summer - Aims & Aspirations

Learn to photograph in manual mode
Improve my blog and content
Get a decent tan (I'm so pale at the moment I would blend in with a heap of snow.)
Start running
Keep a summer journal
Eat more greens and fruit!
Visit London again
Get better at sailing
Print photographs
Relax, actually relax
Host a party to remember to celebrate birthday/end of exams
Write at least one collaboration post
Purchase a smock dress
Learn how to contour without looking a mess!
Travel as much as humanely possible
Read, Read and Read
Get better at cooking
Write more
Bake a cake
Meet new people
Spend at least half of my summer on the beach/in the sea

There is plenty more, but I think I'll leave it there.
What would you like to achieve this summer?

  1. I feel ya on the paleness- that reminds me, I should go lay out! I wish that we lived near a beach!

    1. Revision has had me cooped up indoors and I'm originally pale anyway - how envious I am of the lucky people with olive skin!
So do I, I'm lucky to have relatives who live near the beach though, so I guess that makes up for it.
Thank you for commenting Grace, lovely to hear from you again :)

  3. I wrote a similar list of things to do on my blog! Unfortunately, travelling isn't on the list because I only have four weeks off :( and so the chances of going anywhere is extremely small.

  8. Oooh that ice cream looks delicious.
I didn't make any plans for this summer before I finished my last exam, so last Friday I came home and had no idea what to do with all this time on my hands. I take a lot of inspiration from posts like these :) Thanks for sharing your list :)

    2. Yes! Thanks for sharing this list-- I'd say my goals for summer include everything up there... Maybe minus the sailing part because I do not get to do that regularly (if at all-- lol.. But who knows!). But being by the beach and in the sea? Most definitely. Nautical life = best life!!
So glad I found your blog--you're so stylish and creative, I'll definitely be visiting often!!
      Keep it up!!
      xo,

    3. No problem at all! I'm lucky enough to have a grandpa who owns a sailing boat, so I've been sailing since a very young age really. :) That's so right, can't beat the coast!
Aw, I'm so touched to be described with those adjectives - thank you so much Stephanie!
